Head of Finance Europe (m/f/d)

As Head of Finance Europe, you are responsible for the financial leadership and operational steering of the European organization. You will act as a key business partner to the European management team while serving as the main interface to the Group and shareholders in the United States.

Aufgaben

Leadership & Organizational Responsibility

• Lead the functions Finance/Controlling, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and IT
• Manage and develop an international, cross-country team across multiple European locations
• Drive talent development and promote a high performance, collaborative culture

Financial Management & Controlling

• Oversee and support the monthly financial closings in accordance with HGB and US GAAP
• Own the annual budget process and rolling forecast cycles
• Prepare and deliver regular management and financial reports to shareholders in the US
• Work closely with Group Controlling in the US to ensure alignment and transparency

Compliance & External Stakeholders

• Ensure full compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements
• Act as primary contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners

Processes & Business Performance

• Continuously optimize and further develop financial and operational processes
• Advance and professionalize sales controlling to support commercial decision making
• Serve as a strategic business partner to Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources, providing financial insights to support growth and efficiency

Qualifikation

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Several years of experience in a senior finance leadership role within an international environment
• Strong knowledge of HGB and US GAAP
• Strong knowledge of ERP-systems
• Proven experience leading international teams and cross‑functional areas
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in German and English or another European language is an advantage
